The Efficient Street Lighting Program aims at reducing electricity consumption for street lighting through a combination of efficient lighting technologies and dimming or switch-off measures.
The objectives of this program are to replace or retrofit 100% of existing lit streets with efficient streetlights, and to use only efficient technologies for new lighting. This program will also support the RAK Vision 2030 objective of 65% street lighting coverage by 2030.
