The Reem Solar Calculator is a simple and intuitive web application that helps users get a rough estimate of the solar plant capacity that can be installed in a selected area, with its cost, power production, possible savings, and payback.

EtihadWE’s Distributed Solar System initiative allows consumers with industrial, agricultural and local residential connections to install solar systems with the capacity limit of 10% of their total connected load, capped at 1MW.
There is an upper limit to the total solar capacity that can be connected to the grid in a year and applications for grid connection are considered on a first-come-first serve-basis.
